Bet your desk is not as messy as this one12:40 Tue 22 August 2006If you think your colleague's desk is a mess and you wonder how they get any work done, let alone find anything, ever, then spare a thought for the poor souls sitting next to this journalist's pod. WebTwitcher thinks they need to either a) tidy it, or b) implement some desk Feng Shui. If you want Feng Shui hints and tips via RSS, add Fast Feng Shui's feed to your MIX for some inspiration, or alternatively leave it a mess and face dire consequnces of desk sabbotage when you return from your no doubt well deserved summer holiday.

If you have as many pens and pencils on your desk as I do (many look like they've been chewed by a rabid squirrel) then keeping them in alignment with the celestial would be a practical impossibility, thus vastly reducing productivity. That would be a correct assumption. Of course, WebTwitcher is not suggesting that desks should be tampered with in any way if a colleague is absent for any period of time...that would just be childish ;-)
But will you be able to do more work once Feng Shui is in place? I suspect that then you might spend most time trying to keep the pencils in right alignment with heaven and earth and witness another radical drop of productivity! ;-) And - leave my desk alone!!!
thought mine was bad...!!
