Vodafone jumps on the music download bandwagon12:26 Mon 10 September 2007
The service, called MusicStation, will feature on Vodafone's new handset range and customers will be able to choose from one million tracks by Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, plus some independent labels. MusicStation should prove to be a Christmas hit, with many of Vodafone's Christmas catalogue handsets including the service; the new 8GB Nokia N95, Samsung's F700, and the Sony Ericsson W910i. The "all-you-can-eat" mobile music download service was developed by Omnifone and launched earlier this year at the 3GSM conference. Let the mobile music download wars begin! |
