Live Earth: breaking new online records12:10 Mon 09 July 2007The web world went crazy for Live Earth this weekend, the 24-hour, 7-continent concert series. The concert marked the beginning of a multi-year campaign led by the Alliance for Climate Protection, The Climate Group and other international organisations in a bid to help drive action to solve global warming. Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore is the Chair of the Alliance and Partner of Live Earth. According to MSN, who streamed the concert live, 10 million people tuned in to watch the show online. The alliance reminds me of the South Park episodes Go God Go. Even funnier that Al Gore is in the story. I am sure he is super cereal about the whole thing. But seriously, this looks very interesting, I'll have to keep checking it out.
