YouTube goes mobile, with parental warning

09:10 Mon 18 June 2007

This first thing you notice when logging on to YouTube's new mobile version (ie watch all your YouTube favourites on your mobile) is the following warning:

"Information: YouTube Mobile is a data intensive application. We highly recommend that you upgrade to an unlimited data plan with your mobile service provider to avoid additional charges."

In parent speak this translates as; "upgrade your kids' mobile data plan to "can-download-whatever-from-the-web-no-monthly-limits", or feel the terror from a gigantic mobile bill you never thought possible.

With that in mind, take a look at YouTube Mobile and have a play, or read more about the launch on Gizmodo. If you enjoy the gadget site, add the RSS feed to your Excite MIX personalised homepage too!
