New Mills campaign, get Shakeron to Number One

31st October UPDATE: THE SHAKERON VIDEO IS NOW ON SCOTT MILLS PAGE ON RADIO 1.

Oh goodness me. Goodness, goodness me. After the campaign to Get Hoff to Number 1 (eventually he made it to number 3 in the charts), Scott Mills today launched an offensive on Radio 1 to get Shakeron to Number 1. What, you rightly ask, is Shakeron, and why haven't you given us one of your handy links??

Unfortunately WebTwitcher is unable to find detailed information on the song as yet, but as soon as some links appear I'll be providing more details. Apparently many people heard it being played in the Dominican Republic whilst on holiday this year. There's also a rumour flying around it was the hit song from Oktoberfest 2005.

The song is horrendous, wrong, bad but unfortunately so bad it stays in your head for way longer than it should. WebTwitcher thinks she'll back this campaign too, purely on the grounds of the ridiculousness of the song and its nonsensical lyrics.

Watch this space for more information, and a sure candidate for the number one spot now Hoff is out of the picture. Please send me details if you know any more of this illusive song.

    I know, I know. Can't really get the full effect of the Shakeron song into a blog post without providing a link to the song itself... Just listen to the Scott Mills show this afternoon, he's bound to play it again. Then no doubt someone will post up a recording somewhere and Ill post it as soon as I'm sent it!
