Google billion dollar spending spree for YouTube11:25 Tue 10 October 2006So, the analysts may yet be proved wrong, as Google coughs up $1.65 billion for YouTube. The popular video-sharing site is still yet to make any profit, so WebTwitcher will be watching with interest over the following months to see how their business model develops.
